Department of Internal Medicine
An Internal medicine or general medicine (in Commonwealth nations) is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists, or physicians (without a modifier) in Commonwealth nations. Internists are skilled in the management of patients who have undifferentiated or multi-system disease processes. Internists care for hospitalized and ambulatory patients and may play a major role in teaching and research.
Because internal medicine patients are often seriously ill or require complex investigations, internists do much of their work in hospitals. Internists often have subspecialty interests in diseases affecting particular organs or organ systems.
In the Department of Internal Medicine Dr Rajan Kumar M.D (General medicine) with his team of experienced internists believe in the Philosophy,
- That the staff members, both the doctors and the nurses should work in harmony.
- aThat to show the patients (guests) a caring attitude and professionalism at its best.
- That they should treat the whole person and not just the internal organs.
- That to give the patients (Guests) an understanding of wellness, guide them on disease prevention and promotion of health.
- That they should be dedicated to prove to be true, a famous saying that they are ‘Doctor’s Doctor’ and co-ordinate with their colleagues in our common goal of curing the sufferer.
